Never miss another call.
Connect your SIPcity phone system to the thousands of apps your business already uses. With SIPcity on Zapier, calls and text messages can kick off workflows in your CRM, helpdesk, spreadsheets and chat tools, and those tools can send SMS or start calls through SIPcity, without writing a line of code.
Every call and text message holds information your other tools could use: who called, how long you spoke, what the customer said in their reply.
Zapier connects your SIPcity business phone system with apps like HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Sheets, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Xero and Gmail. You set up automated workflows, called Zaps, that move that information to where your team needs it.
Your team stops copying call notes into the CRM by hand, and no message gets missed.
Triggers
SIPcity sends each event to Zapier the moment it happens, so your Zaps run in real time.
Fires when a call on your SIPcity account ends, with the full call detail record and a reference to the call recording.
Includes
Fires when an SMS event happens on your account: a new incoming message, an outgoing message handed to the carrier, or a delivery status change. Add a Filter step on the Event Type field to handle each event differently.

Actions
Zapier can also act on SIPcity, so your other tools can reach customers through your business numbers.
Send a text message from one of your active SIPcity mobile numbers to any destination.
From: your SIPcity mobile number
Hi Sam, just a reminder of your appointment tomorrow at 10am. Reply YES to confirm.
Great for: appointment reminders, order updates and follow-ups after a form submission.
Connect two parties with one step in your Zap.
SIPcity rings one of your numbers (the A‑party).
Once it's answered, SIPcity connects it to the destination number (the B‑party).
Great for: click-to-call from your CRM, or calling back new leads within seconds.
Ideas to get you started
When a call ends, create a contact activity in HubSpot or Salesforce with the duration and recording reference.
Post new incoming SMS messages to a Slack or Microsoft Teams channel so the whole team can see them.
When someone fills in your website form, start a call that rings your sales line and connects to the new lead automatically.
Send an SMS reminder from your SIPcity mobile number when a booking is made in your calendar or scheduling tool.
Add a row to Google Sheets for every completed call to track volume, duration and call costs.
Use delivery status updates to flag messages that weren't delivered, so your team can follow up another way.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Zapier is a no-code tool. You pick a trigger, choose the app to connect to and map the fields, all in your browser.
What do I need to get started?
An active SIPcity account and a Zapier account. In Zapier, search for SIPcity, click Connect and sign in with your SIPcity login to authorise access. There are no API keys to copy or manage.
Is there an extra cost for the integration?
No. The SIPcity Zapier integration is included at no extra cost. Calls and SMS sent through it are charged at your usual SIPcity rates, and your Zapier plan's own limits apply.
Which apps can I connect SIPcity to?
Any app available on Zapier, including CRMs, helpdesks, spreadsheets, email, calendars and team chat tools. Looking for a direct integration instead? See our other integrations, including HubSpot, LiveAgent and My Care CRM.
How quickly do the triggers fire?
Both triggers are instant. SIPcity sends the event to Zapier as soon as the call ends or the SMS event happens.
Can I handle incoming messages differently from delivery updates?
Yes. The SMS Event trigger includes an Event Type field that tells you whether it's a new incoming message, a sent message or a delivery status update. Add a Filter step in Zapier to run different actions for each one.
Which number does an SMS come from?
You choose the sender from the active mobile numbers on your SIPcity account when you set up the Send an SMS action.
How does Start a Call work?
SIPcity first rings the SIPcity number you choose (the A‑party). When someone answers, it connects that call to the destination number (the B‑party).
Our Australian-based team can help you connect SIPcity to your tools and plan the right workflows for your business.
