Connect to a Softphone

Configure your SIPcity credentials in a third-party softphone application.

A softphone lets you make and receive calls from your mobile device or computer, using a VoIP app. This is useful for remote workers and teams that make frequent calls.

Set up a softphone

  1. Install the softphone app on your device.
  2. If using a SIPcity-provided app, the proxy settings should be pre-configured. Otherwise, enter the proxy details (call.sipcity.com.au).
  3. Enter your username (your phone number) and password.
  4. Once registered, your phone status will show as “registered” and you can make and receive calls.

Note: Device Provisioning is not used to set up softphones. Softphones are configured manually with login credentials.
