VoIP supports number porting, which lets you bring your current telephone number(s) to the SIPcity VoIP network. Australia supports three types of ports.
Port types

Simple Port: A single number that can generally be completed within seven working days, provided the number is not part of an ISDN group or larger block.

Complex Port: Multiple numbers. Complex ports typically take six weeks to process.

Special Ports: Completed within 6–8 business days.
